Cocoa beans are cultivated around Africa and Asia, with Ivory Coast, Ghana, and Indonesia becoming primary producers. Cocoa extract is the main natural ingredient in creating chocolate flavor. It can be used as a partial replacement to cocoa powder to reduce the sedimentation in beverage application. Cocoa extract is also suitable for specific product applications in which the use of cocoa powder is not possible, for example, in alcoholic beverages.
