Jakarta, August 2nd—Starting out humbly in August 1968 as a simple clove leaves collection center and distillation unit in Baturraden, Banyumas Regency, Indesso has evolved into a diversified nature-based ingredients manufacturer that supplies products to more than 2000 clients in over 40 countries all around the world. Following the massive transformation within the recent half-decade of its existence, Indesso officially launched a new logo design.
“At the beginning of our journey, the business was indeed all about essential oils, which explains the story behind the company naming, Indesso, which is an abbreviation of ‘Indonesian Essential Oils’. Today, our business is not only circling around essential oils. Along the way, our passion for nature and science led us entering the food ingredients business as well. We never stop innovating to enriching life to limitless sensory experience ever since. This is the spirit we would like to share through our new logo design,” explained Robby Gunawan.
The new logo of Indesso consists of a logogram (symbol) and a logotype (the font). It conveys Indesso’s core strength: extracting nature (in its basic elements), sustainable business (through its color nuances and transparent effect), as well as fine quality products (as one whole shape).
The identity is portrayed by a dynamic liquid-drop as well as leaf and curvy silhouette of sensory parts, as an experience to find a solution in one circular movement. When connected, all elements gives a whole new meaning of one flowing energy from nature, by nature, and for nature.
Aside from the basic shape of a leaf and a liquid droplet, the identity is visually made by sensory tools of a mouth (tongue/smile) at the bottom, a shape of nose (from sideways), and embracing hands that symbolize the esprit de corps value of the company.
The identity visualizes internal visions, new brand spirits, as well as nature essences and the organizations dynamic, a whole new movement and energy of sensory euphoria.
