Baturraden, 12 August 2019—Today, Indesso held an inauguration ceremony of the new Visitor Center facility in Baturraden, Banyumas, Purwokerto. The ceremony was attended by Ir. Achmad Husein, the reagent of Banyumas, also Ir. Tegoeh Wynarno Haroeno, M.M., the expert staff to Ganjar Pranowo, the Governor of Central Java. Achmad Husein signed the inauguration plate, marking the official opening of this facility for the public. Besides the inauguration ceremony, Indesso also signed a memorandum of understanding with Prof. Dr. Suwarto, M.S., the rector of University of Jenderal Soedirman to collaborate in terms of educational, research, and dedication for the public.
Situated inside the still active manufacturing plant of Indesso, the four-stories Visitor Center was built as a learning center to share half of a century knowledge and experiences of producing aroma ingredients, essential oils, and botanical extracts to the public. Here, each visitor can learn useful information about aromatic plants, the production process, also the product application. The facility that started its construction in December 2017 was also built in the hope of generating or attracting public interest in aroma and essential oil industry. Through a viewing gallery, the visitor can take a glance at the production process inside the manufacturing facility. Indesso Visitor Center is opened for the public through a pre-arrangement booking for free.
